How to have a good social media experience.

Social media can help you stay connected, but it can also be overwhelming. Here are some tips to improve your social media experience.

  • Don't compare your life to what you see online. People only post what they want you to see. Remember, life is full of ups and downs.
  • Use tools to manage your social media feeds. Turn off news alerts. Unfollow or hide pages that cause you stress.
  • Follow the "feel good" stuff.
  • Take a break from technology. Spend time on things you enjoy, like reading, walking your dog, or visiting with friends.
