Figuring out Medicaid can be tough. We’re here to help.

Choose your health plan.

After your application is approved, you'll get a welcome packet in the mail. This is when you choose Highmark Health Options as your Medicaid insurance plan.

If you don’t choose a plan, the state will choose one for you. If you’re already enrolled in a health plan, you can change at any time.

Some of the benefits that Highmark Health Options covers are “extra” benefits.

This means they are not the standard benefits that all Medicaid plans cover. With Highmark Health Options, you get:

  • An extra $500 toward dental care for members age 21 and older.
  • Cash rewards by completing healthy activities like wellness visits and screenings.
  • Help preventing diabetes for eligible members age 18 and older.
  • More for expecting and new moms, like rewards for going to prenatal care visits and helpful apps to help with pregnancy.

We’re here for you.
